Love you Mom!

I miss my mother terribly. My mom passed away in April of 2008 and time does not always heal wounds. She was not "sick" for that long which was a blessing because she did not have to suffer long. My mother died of uterine cancer that had metastasized to the brain but she had no idea that she had cancer until 4 weeks before her death.

While the timing was a blessing for her, it left us with many unanswered questions that I did not even know I would have about her childhood, my childhood, and many other things.

I don't have many pictures of my mother because she did not like to have her picture taken. The very few we did have from our childhood were all destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. This leaves me with only my wedding photos that she HAD to be in and a few candid shots.

So, here is to you Inez, maybe if you had posed more often for photos I would have a nicer one to post. Oh and by the way, I miss you and "love you as big as the world."
